Site Info


This site is a hobby as well as a method of sharing pictures. Everything was hand-coded. Like any other site it is under development. I have tested these pages using IE 6 and Mozilla Firefox. Firefox has a few issuies with the formatting.


The next things to do on the site:

  • Create a blind email page.
  • Revise the site look and feel. The initial concern is developing content and functionality.
  • Create a vacation page.
  • Create a general interest page.

  • 2/28/04 Posted a picture on the site for the first time. Nothing much else happened for months.

New Computer

After DOOM 3 was released, my lovely wife promptly bought me a copy. Alas, my 1.7GHz Dell with 256MB of RRAM and a Radeon 9600 was hurtin just to run the program in the lowest resolution mode. Oh well, any excuse to upgrade.

I speced-out everything I wanted on Newegg.com and three days later plugged everything together. This setup kicks Doom's butt.

Unpacking Going Together Well Up-n-Running

  • Pentium 3.0GHz (Northwood) chip
  • Asus P4P800-E MB
  • 2.0GB of PC3200 DDRAM (4-512MB chips)
  • Western Digital 74GB Raptor SATA HD
  • A Raidmax box w/420 watt power. Cool to be able to see inside and the six fans are nice.
  • Absolutely no need to upgrade the video card. The 9600 runs great. The ram makes a lot of difference.
